Thanks to Dr Michael Koehle, Director of the UBC Sports Medicine Clinic for sharing his research on Exercise and AirPollution. Lots of great strategies for avoiding peak levels when you plan your outdoor exercise. The bottom line from Dr Koehle :
‘Air Pollution is BAD…. avoid it when you can!’

It was terrific to get the 4 decade long ladySport Lecture Series kick started again! Looking forward to the next one scheduled for May of this year.

Are you feeling charitable this winter? Help Ladysport reach our goal of 3600 pairs of socks for the homeless this winter by bringing in new, or lightly used socks to donate. If they’re clean and folded together, we’ll take them! We donate both men’s and women’s socks to the downtown east side for the feet which need them most. Our goal every year is based on the amount of homeless individuals living in the city currently, and we hope to give each person a pair of socks for the cold. Thank you for helping the community!!
