Life is better in pink !!:) A LITTLE STORY ABOUT THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE DESIGN
And we’ve been really trying to embrace slower mornings … because it is so true.. life is not a race, and with my sons bday passing last week, im reminded about how quickly time does pass by, and to really try and slow down to embrace all the little moments… and for me especially with them!
So in the off season this year, I took more time off, we woke up slowly and spent our mornings sipping slow coffees and working on puzzles with my kids.
Previous to this, I was rushing all the time, mornings felt hectic and for a while I felt like I had lost my creative drive hence why I hadn’t designed a new collection in a while. But after slowing down from the down time, and knowing that the busy summer market season was approaching, I wanted to ensure that I continued to embrace the slow mornings .. and that’s when I created this design. The images on the back of the shirt are literally me!
Never without a pastry with my coffee, always snapping photos of everything … good tunes playing in my headphones or while I’m flipping pancakes for my kids.. and who doesn’t love fresh flowers and plants 🌱 to admire when you wake up.
I put the book in there as this is something I’d personally like to do more of, so putting it on tbr shirt is a constant reminder for myself !
and I’m so glad im not the only one who embraces slow mornings .. as this has become my top selling shirt and bag this summer !!
It’s always a little scary putting out new designs .. as I never know how you will all respond to them, so to see the shirt selling out… is just amazing !
