You can spot us as you adventure through our favorite campgrounds and parks such as Joffre Lakes, Sloquet Hot Springs and all the wonderful nooks and crannies of the Squamish River Valley. You also can't miss us rocking out at local festivals such as Pemberton, Bass Coast, Tall Tree and Shambhala Music Festival. At JOHNYS, we're focused on more than just producing steezy blankets and sweaters - we want to help change lives. My best friend has four legs, a pink nose and means the world to me so everytime you buy a JOHNYS Blanket we donate one to local Animal Shelters. That’s a wrap. I started JOHNYS in 2016 with the goal of raising awareness of overcrowded animal shelters and to encourage people to adopt pets if possible.

I was on vacation in California when I visited an East Los Angeles animal shelter only to learn that abandoned animals only had a 90 day shelf life before being put down. Not only did I rescue a dog that very day - my now 9 year old staffy “Daisy” but I knew I had to do something more.

I bought a sewing machine, came up with a brand, ordered blankets, sweaters and shirts and advertised to all my friends and family. I registered for markets, made a website and began promoting any and everywhere.

Over 800 orders later I’ve decided to hang up my thimble and thread but continue to advocate for rescue pets. I’ve only got my original samples left which I will auction for the SPCA.

Thank you to the HUNDREDS of family, friends and fans who supported JOHNYS, the cause and my tiny little business. Your support means the world to me and I hope you all still love your JOHNYS apparel!! 💕💕💕💕

I started this company 5 years ago after learning about the over population of animals in North American Animal Shelters and wanted to raise awareness of desperate shelter pets needing homes before being euthanized🐶🐶🐶

Now I have no idea how many animals I’ve saved, the impact my efforts have had, the times my message has been shared or the number of people I might have influenced to rescue an animal🐶🐶🐶

I do however know that rescuing this angel from a Los Angeles kill shelter was one of the best decisions I ever made. The last 6 years with you are as priceless as anything and I love you and your pouty lip with all my heart💕🐶💕

If you are considering a pet, consider a rescue pet from your local animal shelter. These pets need love too and will return it ten fold. 💕🐶💕
