I’ve been sharing some tough news about Iran and its oppressive regime lately, and I know it can be difficult for those who aren’t used to such harsh realities. Today, I’d like to lighten the mood a bit with some photos from my recent trip to beautiful Vancouver Island and Victoria. It’s a reminder of what the people of Iran truly wish for a peaceful nation where we can enjoy our resources without them being spent on terrorism.
We dream of a country where we can celebrate our culture freely, without worrying about the future for our children. To those who think this is just an internal issue for Iran, I encourage you to consider that the United Nations has done nothing in supporting victims, even inviting the regime to discussions after congratulating them.
There are significant events that the media sometimes overlooks, like the February 14 protests led by . Many detainees face serious dangers, and reports suggest that executions are still happening in secret.
If you were in our shoes, you’d likely hope for help from the international community, too. While the U.S. may have interests in our gas and oil, it’s important to remember that the regime is incredibly corrupt, always using funds to support terrorism rather than its people.
Let’s come together in hope for a brighter, peaceful future for Iran!
