”In remembering the body, we reconnect to self + become embodied.”🧘🏼

🌸As we begin our transition into spring, I encourage you to take a moment to clear + release any winter residue to allow for focus + clarity in this new season.

return to your breath.
not the pressure.

this moment for me doesn’t feel like the energetic start of a new year yet.
it’s why there hasn’t been a january newsletter.
yes it’s technically a new year,
but many of us feel our true beginnings arrive in spring
and that’s allowed.

your rhythm doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.

right now i’m in a season of deep surrender
to motherhood
to slowing down
to letting the work grow without forcing it.
the business is expanding while my ego keeps asking how it’s possible to hold it all.
i’m choosing to trust that i do.

a call last month reminded me that my work is rooted not just in breath
but in grief
gentleness
and building slowly.

if you’re not ready to start yet
you’re not behind.
you’re listening.

xx

My word for the foreseeable future is ‘peace.’
If you could also use more of this in your life or wish for more of this for the world, here’s an exercise for you to try on.

Journal Prompt:

Take a breath.
Let your body settle before you begin.

‘I return to peace, again and again, and let it shape the life I am living.’

Reflect slowly, without fixing or explaining:
• Where in my life am I currently choosing urgency, tension, or proving over peace?
• What would it look like to let peace lead here — in my body, my relationships, my decisions?
• When have I already returned to peace before? What helped me find my way back?
• If peace were shaping my days, what would soften, shift, or become simpler?

Write what arises.
One or two lines is enough.
Trust what comes easily as that is often where peace is already speaking.

Comment ‘YES’ below if you plan to try this!

i have a friend who asks me big questions every year on my birthday. the kind that make me pause in a good way.

she inspired this.

and today… i’m 40 ✨
feeling tender, strong, + very grateful for girlfriends who keep me honest, curious, + laughing.

may you always have people who care enough to ask about the deepest, softest parts of your heart. 🤍

questions to ask your girlfriends on their birthday:

• how do you imagine celebrating yourself today?
• is there something new you’d love to challenge yourself with this year?
• looking back, what has been your biggest lesson or takeaway from the past year?
• what was your brightest highlight and your hardest lowlight?
• what energy or feeling do you want to carry into this next year?

love ya xx

this isn’t new news — and yet we forget.
tending to ourselves is not selfish, it’s essential.
when we honour our needs, everything else we love benefits.

love yourself first.
let them witness.
