From sketching designs to landing in Los Angeles - this journey with Natsukashii Ink keeps getting more surreal. ✈️✨

Starting this business was all about bringing a signature vision to life, one piece of flash art at a time. Fast forward, and it’s led to yet another week in LA, getting ready to share Natsukashii Ink inside the Emmy’s Gifting Lounge!

Huge love to everyone who has supported the art, grabbed a print, or shared a post. None of these incredible milestones happen without this community behind the ink.

Great art starts long before the first sketch.

When we were tasked with creating an animal to represent trauma for The Twelve, we knew it couldn't just look powerful—it had to carry meaning.

That meant hours of research. Studying symbolism across different cultures. Exploring animal behaviours, instincts, and the emotions they evoke. Asking difficult questions about how trauma can be represented visually while still telling an authentic story.

Every line, every texture, and every creative decision was intentional.

Projects like this remind us that art isn't just about creating something beautiful, it's about communicating something that words often can't.

We're incredibly proud to have contributed to The Twelve and grateful for the opportunity to turn research, emotion, and storytelling into a piece of artwork with purpose.

Because the best art doesn't just catch your eye, it makes you feel something.

Creating artwork for a television production like The Twelve was one of the biggest creative projects we've ever taken on, and it challenged us in all the best ways. From concept to final artwork, every step reminded us why we're so passionate about creating.

Seeing our art become part of something larger than ourselves is an incredible feeling. It's proof that creativity has no limits, and that the same passion we pour into every Natsukashii Ink design can find a home on any canvas.

We're beyond grateful for the opportunity, proud of what our team accomplished, and even more excited for what's next.
