‘Who does the sewing of your creations?’, people often ask us this question.

Well so far we do it. To be more precise, Lise does the sewing. We control our production from A to Z: we design, we cut and we sew!

Every single bag and accessory are created in our atelier in Vancouver, BC by our little hands; this is why our creations are UNIQUE and ORIGINAL.

Eco-friendly is a word with different meanings. What does eco-friendly mean for NooN Creations?

- Locally handmade products: every single item is handmade in our atelier in Vancouver, BC
- Ethically-made raw materials: we carefully selected North American suppliers aligned with our eco-friendly vision (for instance, our cork is Fair Trade)
- Plastic free hardware: even our zipper tape are made with organic cotton
- Vegan products: cork is vegan and animal free 😊
- Luxurious products: we want our creations to last. This is why we selected the finest materials and pay attention to every single detail
- Eco-friendly packaging: we have compostable mailers!

A message from the founders and owners:

Thank you to our friends and family for their support and love. We are so excited and very grateful about this new chapter of our lives. This could not have happened without the support from our family and friends.

Hi Earth Lovers, missing the snow yet? We know some of us do (aka: Lise) and others don't (aka: Léa).

Let's talk a bit about our eco-friendly materials: premium cork and organic cotton.

After spending hours understanding and conducting researches we decided our main materials would be cork and organic cotton. Believe us, that was not an easy part. The market is still rather new when it comes to genuine leather alternatives and lots of vegan fabrics are vinyl or polyurethane based. We also wanted to minimize our carbon footprint and preferred having North-American suppliers.

Cork appears to be the best option for now. Even though cork manufacturers are most of the time from Portugal, the supplier we are using is based here, in British Columbia.

We love wearing beautiful things but we also love our Mother Earth.

After more than a year of research and prototypes, Lise & Léa are launching their own eco-conscious brand of handmade bags & accessories: NooN Creations.

What a journey…. that is just starting!

Why the name NooN Creations?
From the very beginning, two things were non-negotiable; the creations had to be eco-friendly and both sides (interior and exterior) had to be gorgeous.
That was just a start but at least it settled something and gave a few leads.

The two Ls knew they wanted a palindrome to represent their creations; creations with two sides, the exterior (the design that most people would see) and the interior, the colourful hand drawn lining.
Lise and Léa built a never-ending list of name and finally agreed on NooN Creations.

Creations, we get, but why NooN?
NooN is a palindrome, of course, but it is also the time of the day that calls for a break. A timeout that a lot of people use to go for a walk with the intent of refocusing on themselves and nature. NooN inspires a cut in the rush of the day, a soothing feeling, a fresh breeze and a reconnection with our mother earth.

… and here the brand was born!
