I finally got around to extending my pockets. We are no longer held on trial for witchcraft, please sew in useful pockets in women’s clothing. These couldn’t even fit half my phone. 😫😫 Can you say advertising for pick-pockets?! UGH. While I was at it, I decided to make them pretty and flowers were in order.

What happens when your fur hood collar is MIA and you cannot buy a new one from the manufacturer? I bought a fur collar off Etsy, added snaps and a zipper all for under 35$!!!! Double Bonus was the way the hood is made, I didn’t even have to remove the old zipper. Just inserted and ran a stitch along the length of it. Now my face can be warm in the cold Canadian winter 🥶.

Masking continues. My twins need bigger masks, so I’m trying out all the patterns in the hopes I can find something that will stay on the male borne’s face. He has a flat nose and tiny little ears and nothing fits quite right. So enter the duckbill type mask. I printed one off and heavily modified it and also made one for myself.

For those that think it shouldn’t, well f**k right off. I also think it should continue well past this, anytime anyone shows any cold/flu like symptoms, keep it to yourself, it’s the polite thing to do. Either that or stay home and keep your cooties to your own household.

UGH is how this mama feels right now. The zipper head is missing off this winter coat. And instead of being a regular #5 zipper, as the identical zip on the pockets tell me so. My #5 zipper I bought for switching out the head doesn’t fit. The teeth are thicker than a #5. So what I thought was a 15 minute job has turned I to me having to change the WHOLE zipper. 💩 Definitely not fair, and a more expensive fix.

First time having a “real job” in the better part of 13 years. Since I work reception I figured I’d show my support working on Nov 11th, all 3 of my kids get one also to wear to school. And before someone harks on me about supporting our legion or anything else. I stand beside the uniform, Ever Single Day. I am the spouse of a serving member, in a long line of them.
