We are hiring!
We are looking for a FULL TIME / PERMANATE - ENTRY LEVEL PRODUCTION WORKER who has a positive attitude, reliable and punctual, with an above average mechanical aptitude, and a keen eye for details.

On the job training is provided and duties will include the following:
Sewing – operating Industrial sewing machines as needed in our production process.
Tarp Layout - Ability to interpret tarp drawings to achieve an accurate finished product.
RF Vinyl welding – joining vinyl panels using industry specific equipment.
Vinyl gluing – using specialized vinyl contact adhesive to bond materials that are not able to be welded.
Tarp repairs – combination of jobs to repair or rebuild damaged tarps.
Shipping – packaging product for shipment, must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Employment hours are: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
Starting wage is $18.00/hour with benefits after the 3 month probationary period

Responsibilities:
• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost- effective way
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency

• Find ways to increase quality of customer service
• Analyze customer requests and create quotes
• Process and schedule orders into production
• Shop and building clean- up and maintenance

• On-line shipping and receiving

Candidate will be required to learn and have exceptional working knowledge of all production duties which include:
• Welding (Textiles)
• Sewing
• Layout
• Repairs

Requirements:
• Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership ability
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Proficient in Excel

Not Required but preferences given to individuals:
• Experienced in drafting

Hours will be M-F from 8:30 -5:00

Central Tarp is looking for a FULL TIME - PRODUCTION WORKER. Must have a positive attitude, be very reliable, punctual, be mechanically orientated, with above average attention to details.

Must be committed to excelling above and beyond to help us meet our production schedules. Seeking applicants with sewing experience OR willing to take on the challenges of learning sewing in our industrial work environment. Other aspects of the job include: product layouts, Vinyl welding, vinyl gluing, tarp repairs & shipping. Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

We did not have any layoffs earlier this year due to the Covid pandemic…. Steady work all year!
