Today on International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the woman behind Chai Fashions, Lindsay Jones.

As the owner and designer of a proudly woman-owned small business in Victoria, Lindsay has built Chai Fashions around community, culture, and connection. What began as a passion for South Asian textiles and craftsmanship has grown into a vibrant boutique where people can discover unique pieces and express their own personal style.

Lindsay designs each piece herself while working closely with women and family-run artisans in India. Through these partnerships, Chai Fashions helps support traditional craftsmanship and creates meaningful opportunities for the families who bring these garments to life.

Here in Victoria, Lindsay has also created a welcoming space where customers are cared for and the team works together to celebrate individuality and style.

Today we celebrate Lindsay and all the women who build, create, lead, and lift others up.

Chai has some sad news to report! Unfortunately our Nanaimo and Mayfair Victoria store will be closing at the end of August. Nanaimo’s last day open will be August 26th and Mayfair’s will be August 31, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our clientele. This closing news was sudden, unexpected and is beyond our control as both malls are replacing us with larger tenants. Our plan is to open again in Spring 2025 in new yet to be determined locations so please stay tuned and we will update you as soon as we have news.
Until then, our Bay Centre location will remain open and we will continue to honour all gift cards and store credits there and in new locations this Spring. Don't worry, they do not expire! In lieu of these closures, we will be having a SALE in both closing stores. ALL STOCK will be 25% OFF IN THESE LOCATIONS ONLY!
