Happy New Year Everyone! I’m just heading into my final semester at school so I thought I would share a little collection related to my medieval studies minor. The tea towel is from the Book of Kells, a stunning 9th c. illuminated manuscript featuring a mix of Christian imagery and Celtic interlacing pattern known as “insular majuscule” style. I’m sure many of you have heard of it but if not a quick internet search is definitely worth it!
