I do lots of custom sewing for curtains, table linens, cushions, minor clothing alterations and so much more. A common request I get is to shorten store bought curtains, but there is no shortage of unique requests! This work is something I love to do, but I do not run a store; I operate out of my home.

Hard to capture the blankets, bags, and the dolls/stuffies properly. They turn out so great for the most part, and it's all luck of the draw, based on the donations I receive. Grateful for all of it, and humbled to do this work for kids around the world.

766 so far for CFFC. I had a very lazy and distracted several months from this voluntary work that is near and dear to my heart. I'm proudly back at it so that kids around the world might be comforted from their tears and perhaps gain a smile. I was interviewed in Feb by Mike Farwell for this. Current inventory is about 61 more bags to make, and 19 more blankets. Thank you to the ladies at my church who help me make the latter. Couldn't manage with out them.

What do you do when your fitted sheet is ripped beyond repair (sort of), and so thread-bare, but your top sheet is still in great condition? Well of course, you make new nightgowns from it! What else?
Not perfect, but honestly, who's going to care?

So, instead of struggling with the sad sheet that you sewed a huge patch over top of, and spend $40 on two new nightgowns that you know are ugly anyway, you spend $50 on a new set of wonderful sheets, and you get two comfy and prettier nightgowns to boot.
