Le Prix has never been just about finding beautiful clothes.

I started this business in 2012 with the belief that style could feel exciting without costing the earth—or asking us to change everything about ourselves.

Today, Le Prix brings together thoughtfully selected pre-loved fashion, sustainable Canadian goods and personal styling rooted in real life.

I also bring my Master’s in Environmental Studies to this work because sustainability deserves more than a trendy label. Together, the Le Prix community has helped divert more than 3.5 tonnes of clothing from waste.

Le Prix is proudly female-founded, disabled-owned and an inclusive LGBTQIA+ safe space.

Whether you’ve been here for years or you just found me: welcome. I’m so happy you’re here. 🌿

Behind the scenes in the Le Prix warehouse, I found myself surrounded by a few of the awards and recognitions we’ve received over the years.

And honestly? These don’t even begin to capture all of them—or everything it took to get here over the last 14 years.

When you’re deep in the day-to-day of running a business, caring for a toddler, managing inventory, answering emails and figuring out what comes next, it’s easy to forget how far you’ve already come.

But now I get to tell my daughter about where Le Prix started, where it has been, where it is today—and where we’re still going.

That might be one of the most meaningful forms of recognition of all. 💚

Le Prix is a female- and disabled-owned Canadian sustainable business, shaped by 14 years of learning, resilience, community and a whole lot of love.

Apparently, if you travel with a toddler, you need two of everything. 😂✈️

Three little travel essentials Luna loves:

🌸 An organic mulberry silk eye mask with soft cotton filling and its own carrying case. She kept stealing mine, so I adjusted the elastic to fit her—and finally bought another one for myself (after she told me to 🤣).

🍊 Eco Lips lip balm in compostable packaging. We’ve just restocked Orange and Peppermint!

🎀 A 100% mulberry silk scrunchie for comfortably tying back our hair without tugging or creasing.

Small, useful and made with more thoughtful materials—the kind of travel companions we love at Le Prix.

Which one would you pick first?

When I started my Master’s in Environmental Studies back in 2013, researching why people choose secondhand fashion, I remember people asking me:

“What does fashion have to do with the environment?”

Then I saw scenes like this.

This is inside one independent thrift store.

There are already mountains of clothing that deserve a second life before we make something new.

Many of these garments are made from synthetic fibres like polyester, nylon, and acrylic, which require resources to produce and shed microplastics throughout their lifetime. Choosing to wear what’s already here helps extend the life of those materials instead of constantly demanding more.

Fourteen years later, that belief is still at the heart of why I built Le Prix.

The most sustainable wardrobe isn’t the newest one. It’s the one that makes the most of what already exists. 🌿

I’d love to know—what’s the best thing you’ve ever thrifted?

Cool mornings, warm afternoons and absolutely no idea what season to dress for. 🍂☀️

These two outfits are made for that little in-between moment:

🤎 A linen top and flowing brown skirt, finished with a lightweight printed jacket
🌿 Chocolate trousers and a neutral tank, layered with the softest sage-green jacket

The easiest way to transition into fall isn’t to replace your wardrobe—it’s to layer lighter pieces, introduce richer colours and keep wearing what you already love.

Which are you choosing: Outfit 1 or Outfit 2?

Styled by me, a sustainable stylist with a Master’s in Environmental Studies and the founder of Le Prix—a female- and disabled-owned Canadian small business.

Because apparently the calmest time for a restock and new arrival is… less than an hour before I had to finish eating, finish packing and leave for the airport. 😅✈️

Naturally, I opened the box in my backyard to show you:

🍷 Merlot lip tint is restocked
🌹 Rosé lip tint is restocked
☕ Espresso lip tint is restocked
🍵 NEW Matcha lip balm—which isn’t tinted, but smells like a creamy matcha latte

They’re made in British Columbia by female-founded Pink House and come in more sustainable low waste packaging. You can shop while I’m away, and orders will be lovingly packed when I return. 💚

Which one would you reach for first?

Four outfits, from morning wandering to a Mediterranean swim, a very long lunch, and finally dinner + drinks. 🍷

I wanted this one to feel warm, romantic and a little undone — lots of linen, breezy silhouettes, rich reds and pieces you can actually wear again and again.

As a sustainable stylist (and someone with a Master’s in Environmental Studies), that’s always my favourite kind of travel wardrobe: fewer pieces, natural fibres where possible, and clothes that deserve adventures beyond just one trip.

And yes… several of the pieces I originally planned for this video sold before I could even film it. The reality of styling with one-of-one pre-loved fashion. 😂

Which part of the day are you dressing for — 1, 2, 3 or 4? 🇪🇸
