My latest pattern Wynn has these sweet scallops that I thought would be a lot more work than they really are! I think it offers an elevated look to this simple bodice.

The pattern comes with as a dress and romper but I hemmed the top in to a crop!! I know this will be a closet staple this summer!

Being able to whip up something last minute is my superpower.

I sewed up my latest pattern Estelle in swim for my sweet sister in law! No adjustments were made, it’s true to the pattern! Had to include a maternity bodice for this exact reason! And some little briefs for big brother to be!

Some day I aspire to be less last minute… but so far that’s not working out so well for me, and that’s ok.

Styling vs wearing.

This is always the most difficult part for me! Sure I can sew up any garment I want. But finishing the look can be a bit trickier.

I styled this dress about 6 different ways but these made the Final Cut. I think some extra jewelry would help out too.

That low twisted back action!

Using this dupe athletic was a dream to work with once I got my thread situation figured out. I think I’ll be wearing this so much this summer both as a set and separates! So many different ways to style these two pieces.

It’s been a while since I’ve been in the sewing room but it’s no less satisfying to finish a project.

I’m teaching a class at where we will learn how to appliqué!
I will be supplying a whole variety of floral fabric to choose from! You supply the tshirt or sweater! And if you have a sewing machine that’s been collecting dust you can bring it and we can get you going on it! Mini sewing machine lesson included!!

I’ve never done a class like this but I’m looking forward to a fun evening with other crafty people! Message to secure your spot!
