B-Bear Loving Memory Creations I was gifted a Memory Bear by my family the Christmas after my husband passed away. It was meant to help mend my heart and sole. I have been sewing for 55 years.

When I opened the box and saw the bear made from my husbands neckties and pants I immediately got teary eyed.I remembered that one tie that was always my favourite also the one that he wore at our wedding and the one that the kids gave him for Christmas The pants used had a red heart with his initial "B" embroidered inside it. B-Bear is named after my husband Barry who always encouraged my sewing

creations. This project called out to my heart. I hoped in making Memory Bears and Pillows for other people that I would help in keeping their precious memories vibrant.

I was asked to put this particular saying on the pillows. It was something they remember that Roy said often. It was decided that I could turn the shirt fabric so the stripes would go vertically for the bears rather than horizontally like the original shirts. I especially like the turquoise colour on the one bear.

The shirt provide to make this Memory pillow sure was well loved by it's owner. There were a few spots that needed repair as it was worn so thin little holes needed stitching closed. I used a supportive lining on this pillow to help support the thread worn short fabric. Lots of loving memories and warm hugs coming its' way.
