🌿 hello 👋🏻

I must admit I have been way too busy over here to even think of reopening up until now but I’ve been having the itch to get back to my craft and start sharing my beautiful creations with you all again, especially as we enter into warmer weather. I have been thinking about doing a soft [re]launch and I think I’ve figured out how to manage Violet Ivy on top of working full time and caring for my family. Here’s what I’m thinking… rather than doing custom orders, I will do releases once or twice each month. I will post what’s available and try to make multiples in each size and then close until the next release. Eventually the goal would be to have some pieces available at a few of our incredible local handmade retailers.

What do you think??? 🌿How would you feel about my creations being available again???? ✨

🤍 HELLO LOVELIES 🤍

I’d like to introduce you to our newest arrival Miss Norah Mae.

She was born January 30th in the most beautiful homebirth setting.

All business plans went out the window after she arrived. Our girl has been a struggle. She has been colicky, has tummy problems and has been a little adorable ball of stress.

Shortly after she was born, I started experiencing some serious symptoms and have been feeling so weak. I finally took measures into my own hands and started digging into my symptoms with the help of my doctor and naturopath. I recently have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, which explains everything!

Unfortunately, this means Violet Ivy is still on hold. My hope is to release a collection of ready made pieces over the summer as I regain some strength!

EXCITING NEWS! Violet Ivy will be coming back soon 🌸

Our family is expanding by 10 fingers and 10 toes soon, which means this mama is on maternity leave! Yay!

There will be few changes to VIH’s business model going forward:

🌿 I can no longer accommodate custom orders 🌿

🌿 There will be release dates on our shop that I am working hard to setup 🌿

🌿 Products will only be boho inspired 🌿

🌿 VIH will be bringing back floral crowns, soft crowns for infants, floral mobiles, nursery decor, and even new products that I can’t wait to show you! 🌿

🌿 I will be looking to partner with a few local photographers 🌿

I look forward to getting to see yourselves, your littles and your nurseries (like this beautiful one) again 💕

Target re-opening date is set for February 2021!

Hello lovelies,

As I'm sure you've noticed, I have been a bit quiet for the last few months.

Sometimes life throws you off course, and it certainly did that for me.

Sometimes when things get difficult you have to make tough decisions....

I have decided that it is necessary to take a break from Violet Ivy and at this point I can no longer take on any new custom orders.

I deeply apologize for any inconvenience this hiatus causes, and I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you for following, loving and supporting me every step of the way as Violet Ivy bloomed.

This isn't forever, just for now.... 💕
