So there I am, standing on my porch, about to walk my girls, when I spot what appears to be a stray Sheppard wandering up the street.
Naturally, I usher my girls back inside, grab Gracie's leash, and head out on a rescue mission. 🐾❤️
I'm rushing down my driveway when my neighbour asks if I'm okay.
Me: “There's a stray dog! I need help!”
Bless his heart, he follows me for a few steps while I'm already mentally planning how to approach this poor, lost soul without frightening it.
Then he stops.
Him: “Paula... that's a coyote.”
Me: “No, it's not! It's a...”
Oh. Well, s**t. 🐺💩😂
Apparently, my rescue instincts are considerably stronger than my wildlife identification skills.
Just another day of me probably needing new glasses and minding absolutely NONE of my own business.

From sad and confused to the happiest, most loving little monkey. ♥️

Happy 3 years, Jojo! Happy Gotcha Day, my sweet, sweet girl. Mama loves you… so very much. ♥️

Gracie won't admit it, but I know she loves you too. 😂

Jojo was almost euthanized when our paths crossed. I came into her life when she needed love the most, never imagining how much I would come to need hers.

She was by my side through Leo's illness and when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge, offering me unconditional love when my heart was shattered ... unconditional love since day one .

I'm incredibly blessed that we found each other, but I still find myself wondering…

Who rescued who? 🙏♥️

Good morning friends. Be very careful.out there Theres a lion in town 😂❣️🦁
