Seventeen years ago today, I opened shop. 🎉 I was a stay-at-home mom. When my son was four years old, I made him his first Halloween costume. He wanted to be a ninja. 🥷🏽 He wore that costume for four years. Sewing was my hobby. I took a fashion class, graphing class, and I became a designer. I still remember my first customer Madeline. She came in with two pairs of pants and on that day, I only made $18. But it made me feel good. I was in business. I paid my rent. Nothing came out of my pocket. Since then, I’ve designed my own dresses. I’ve fitted wedding dresses, prom dresses, you name it. The thing I am most proud of are my return customers. ✨
