IrelandsEye has been making knitwear in Dublin since 1988, when the O’Sullivan family started out with a handful of knitting machines in Howth. Today, the family-run company designs, knits and hand-finishes its sweaters at its factory in Baldoyle, Dublin.

Their knitwear draws on traditional Irish techniques, but without feeling like the classic Aran sweater you might be picturing. The designs are simpler and more contemporary, made with natural yarns and designed to be worn for years.

We’ve brought two IrelandsEye styles into North of Ordinary: a classic crew neck and a quarter zip.

Both are straightforward, beautifully made sweaters. The sort you reach for all winter.
