• Saugeen Fire & Emergency Services has raised the Community Wildfire Hazard Level to EXTREME within the Chippewas of Saugeen First Nation territory.
• Please avoid outdoor ignitions, campfires, fireworks, sparklers, discarding cigarette butts, and the use of motorized vehicles that could spark, leak fuel, or ignite dry vegetation.
🚫 TRAVEL & TRAIL ALERTS
• Road Updates: Micro-surfacing work is active on Bruce Road 6 between Highway 21 and Sideroad 20 N for the month of June. Locally, the Berford Street reconstruction project between Elm Street and Division Street is scheduled to begin soon, though active construction has not officially started yet.
• Trail Updates: Sections of the Bruce Trail from Crane Lake Road to High Dump are closed due to flooding and unsafe trail conditions. Bannister’s Hill Side Trail (Williams Caves area) also remains closed until further notice.
• Parking: Seasonal paid parking is in effect at Borchardt Road, Miller Lake.
