Not to sound like an Oscar speech but it kinda does! 😁
On this last day of the shop I need to give a very special shout out to these beautiful women: Becky Yochmans, Becky Haselhan, Amanda Chelsea (for some reason I can’t tag you) and Anna Maria Hourie! I definitely would not have done this without Becky Y as this all was truly her vision and I just jumped on board and made it mine too! You all supported me and the shop every way imaginable!!!! Thank you Jason for making Becky’s vision into reality and being you! Huge thanks to my amazing husband Mike Hatch for your unconditional love and support and letting me run with this for the past couple years! I love you all and we are all family now! ❤️

Woo, feeling emotional tonight! I named the shop CARAbootique after the fact we live in the Cariboo and also because my Dad was from Ireland and Cara means “friend” in Gaelic. Lots of people thought my name was Cara and I had to say, “no it is Tara”. Tara is another Irish name and I often did not mind being called Cara and questioned if I tried to make things a bit complicated. You have all become friends of mine and I will miss the daily contact so much. Thank you for letting a girl from California, with strong Irish roots, become a part of your community! I did not hardly know anybody when I first moved here and opened this shop and now I have a heart filled with lots of beautiful friendships. Thank you! 💚
