Shirt done with Dharma Trading dyes in the rain. Loving the colour mix of the soft colours I went with.

Just a few of the new rain dyed items I did last week. I am hoping to list many of the close to 30 items I did over this coming week. Some will be in Etsy and others will be in Mindful Market as I continue to grow that shop.

Time to update on things that are happening with my shop.
I have joined Mindful Market and am working on adding some items. They are much smaller than Etsy and work a little differently as well. If you have something you really would like to follow I suggest you check out the site as well. When you search you can even refine to Organic, Fair Trade, Up-cycled what is important to you.
My prices are different one Mindful Market because shipping is charged separately. Etsy limits traffic to Canadian shops that don't offer "Free Shipping" so my listings on Etsy include it and coupon codes help for larger orders.
I look forward to growing this shop and if it out performs Etsy this year I will definitely stick with it. Right now there are just 3 items that I copied from Etsy so any others listed in the near future will be listening only for Mindful Market just to make my life easier.

This tie dyed size 10 girls dress came out lovely with the soft to deep colours that are part of snow dyeing. I will say that this dress feels a little on the short side so would work perfectly with shorts or capris when playing. This item has been has been washed several times in work loads. It is

Here are the results of the washout. These are just quick pics of course and I do hope to lost them in March if not before. I actually dyed 23 items as some bins had 3 or 4 items in them. I still need to take pictures of One More item as I have to set it up right. I love the colour mixing and the last 3 pics are details of some.

Time for the washout! Well it started last night around 10pm yesterday. I let it sit over night with the hottest water my tap can provide, drained it in the morning and refilled it now in the wash for 3hrs. So far things are looking great. It is also really cool seeing how dark purple or blue the water gets but the green stays green like the other colours and white areas stay white.

Weather is getting better so time to take advantage of all the snow. Time for snow dyeing while we have some snow that is getting better for packing. I still have a few bins to fix up but need my hands to thaw out. These will take a few days but I am looking forward to the results.
Love using my Dharma dyes as some colours just break up into some cool mixes.

I will be adding these shirts soon but thought I would touch on Custom Orders and issues that sometimes come up. These 2 shirts are the same size, both scrunch or chaos style of dye pattern, both had the same dyes put on them and after that I just let the rain fall on them. This is the result and they look really cool 😎. When ordering a custom shirt don't expect to be look exactly the same as the one posted in a listing. I will get it close but colours might be a little different and the lines might be a little different but I always try to get a custom order as close as I can to the original. One of a Kind is still a thing when copying a previous design.
I wish I was Master level in Tie Dyeing but even they can't get things perfect all the time.
Honestly people have been really good on this issue for the most part but sometimes colours just don't come out right.
