"Trust the process!" What I secretly say to myself when I figure things out as I go. Replaced the fur trim on a jacket hood today. Fun fur is NOT so fun to sew...but the end result was worth it. 🧵🪡❤️

Awesome thrift store find...only $12 for my very favourite (leather) purse...but you can see the straps were dying. Shortened the shoulder strap and "Voila!"

So....sleeves. Sometimes added to update a style (the purple dress). Or perhaps added for modesty and to reduce the need to wear a sweater (blue dress). I got lucky with both these dresses in that there was left over fabric from hemming them!😊💃🧵❤️

Custom top for a coworker complete! The idea started with some beautiful fabric she had bought years ago. Concept evolved from a dress (not enough yardage!) to this sheer top complete with cute ruffled sleeves, perfect for layering. ☺️🧵❤️

Ripped jeans...I get it, they’re a fav of many. However...one brand goes to great lengths to purposely patch their ripped styles😳. That being said, I’ve developed some good techniques for removing them. Removing them from brand new jeans that are supposed to be ripped in the first place🤔. This hurts my brain.

Did a little thrifting over the holidays and found this gem for a few bucks! I updated the look with a quick hem and tapering of the side seams. (But a much younger me wanted to pair the original with some low-rise jeans)😂 👖😏
