I've been thinking about how running a brand on social media can feel strange sometimes.⁠
You can spend years building something with care… trying to make thoughtful decisions, pay fair wages, create responsibly, show up honestly… and a comment written in 5 seconds can suddenly cut deeper than people realize.⁠
Constructive conversations matter. Questions matter. Different opinions matter. But somewhere along the way, cruelty became entertainment online and the algorithm often rewards the loudest reactions instead of the most thoughtful ones. ⁠
Behind small brands are real humans. People carrying stress. People trying their best.
People staying late to finish orders. People who care more than you’ll ever fully see through a screen.⁠

Let's talk cotton gauze.⁠
It's the fabric you want on your skin in July, light, airy, breathable, and it gets softer every wash. But not all gauze is created equal.
⁠
Why it looks like this: It's the weave, not a finish. Cotton threads are woven loosely, leaving tiny gaps for air to move through. Then the fabric is washed, the threads relax, and it puckers naturally.⁠
No chemicals. No synthetic crinkle. Just cotton doing what cotton does.⁠
That's why it breathes in July. That's why it softens every wash.

What we use: 100% cotton (no synthetic blends hiding in the weave), Oeko-Tex certified, tested for harmful substances, Milled to hold up to real summers, not one season of wear⁠

A lot of "summer linen-look" pieces on the market right now are polyester blends marketed as natural. Read the label. Your skin (and the landfill) will know the difference.
