Donna, grandmother to Montana and Mom to Tracy, was around 10 years old in the photo.
Now, years later, another 10-year-old girl stands in her place wearing her story.
Being a girl has never really been easy. I’m sure it wasn’t easy in 1955, and it isn’t easy in 2026 either, just for different reasons.
The world changes, but some things don’t.
Girls still grow up wondering if they’re too much or not enough. Too loud or too quiet. Too emotional. Too opinionated. Too soft. Too strong.
Does this make me look fat? Is my shirt too revealing? Why doesn’t my body look like hers?
Different generation, different pressures. But girls have always grown up carrying the weight of expectations.
Women still carry more than they let people see. Mothers still give pieces of themselves away quietly every single day. And somehow, generation after generation, women continue to keep going.
Maybe that’s where strength comes from.
Maybe strength is learned. Passed down softly from grandmother, to mother, to daughter.
In the way they love. In the way they sacrifice. In the way they survive things they never talk about.
This tee was created to honour that.
To honour the women who shaped us. And the little girls growing up watching them.
We love seeing this story carried forward, and love that our Small + Medium sizes fit kids beautifully too 🤍
