Our sweet Maggie May has crossed the rainbow bridge. Her spunky little sass brought joy to us and our family next door for over 13 years.

Every piece I pick up I try to imagine the stories they can’t tell.

Like a coffee table, listening to the kids giggle as they watch Saturday morning cartoons. Or the laughter and Shenanigans at a cocktail party as the fondu pots bubble and the hors d'oeuvres spin on the lazy Susan.

A lamp casting light for mom while she reads Rosemary’s baby snuggled in an afghan as her cigarette burns down in an oversized ashtray.

Gorgeous crystal decanters filled with amber liquors at home AND the office.

The colourful Pyrex bowls filled with all the ingredients from a Julia Child cookbook as she tries to master the art of French cooking.

Endless hours of listening to records, Patsy Cline, Elvis, Wanda Jackson, Frank and the gang or the kids listening and reading along to Puff the Magic Dragon.

Visits with Aunt Doris where the candy dish is always full.

I love the stories they can’t tell. 🧡

Christmas is only 54 days away! 🎄
My Christmas goal this year is to normalize gifting recycled, repurposed, restored or reclaimed treasures from the past!

These pieces have stood the test of time, many of these pieces were hand crafted or manufactured at local companies that employed entire communities unlike todays mass produced lesser quality goods from overseas. 😳

Christmas is such a special time of year, I love to approach each gift with the thought of something a little extra special in mind. Not just extra special, but Christmas Special! Gift a unique one of a kind, reclaimed piece of vintage history to really embrace the spirit of the season! 🤗
