Weba was the first weaving mill world-wide to achieve the Oeko-Tex SteP Certification.

Oeko-Tex STeP is one of the most advanced Certifications in the textile industry. It is a management system considering not only individual sustainability aspects, but includes a comprehensive analysis and assessment of the production conditions instead. STeP analyses all important areas of a company using 6 modules:

- Environmental performance
- Environmental management
- Social responsibility
- Quality management
- Health protection and safety at work

For some it still sounds a paradox to wear wool on hot days, but in practice no natural fibre provides better temperature and moisture management than merino wool does. Plus, it looks really good - not at all wooly at all! knows best how to style and combine merino shirts in a cool way.
