♻️🍑 FROM PLASTIC BOTTLE TO LUCKY BUM!

Did you know the rPET fabric used in Lucky Bums can begin life as recycled plastic bottles?

The bottles are cleaned, sorted and shredded into tiny flakes. Those flakes are melted and spun into recycled polyester fibre, which becomes soft, stretchy fabric.

Then comes the really cheeky part—it’s cut and sewn into colourful Lucky Bums swimwear, underwear and boxers! 😏

Less waste. More fabulous. One seriously clever transformation!

♻️🍑 FROM BOTTLE TO BUM!

Did you know your Lucky Bums can begin life as recycled plastic bottles? 🤯

The bottles are collected, sorted, thoroughly cleaned and shredded into tiny flakes. These flakes are melted and spun into recycled polyester yarn, which is knitted into soft, durable fabric.

We then add elastane for comfort and stretch before cutting and sewing the fabric into our colourful Lucky Bums swimwear, underwear and boxers!

Who knew giving plastic a second life could look and feel this cheeky? 😏♻️
