After more than 20 years of creating my art, hand painting exclusive French Chantilly lace with reactive dyes must certainly remain one of the most satisfying processes. Watching the dyes flow between the fibers of the lace, like little streams, coming together and blending. It’s like meditation.

If the devil is in the details, I’m going straight to hell!

I have so many favourite things within the spectrum of my career as an artist, and women’s tailoring is for sure one of them.

Here we have a custom hand woven tweed in wool, lovingly created by a dear friend, from which I created this classically tailored jacket with French Chantilly lace details and wool cording trims. For the ultimate luxurious comfort, it is lined in hand dyed silk satin.
