This new year is especially significant for me, as I take this moment to introduce my first fashion collection:
Strelitziasunsun — Haute Couture & Prêt-à-Porter.

This collection marks a new chapter, bringing together over 20 years of experience in haute couture and international ready-to-wear. Those years have shaped a new vision—one that allows me to create something truly unique, timeless, and innovative.

Strelitziasunsun is not about following trends or fashion week schedules. It is about creating beautiful, distinctive pieces for people who connect with my vision—pieces to be worn with joy, confidence, and individuality. Each design is meant to enhance the character and expression of the person who wears it, adding beauty through authenticity.

As a designer, I see myself as an instrument to bring this vision to life.

There is much more to come in 2026, and I hope you will enjoy this journey with me.

Third Year with the St. Gallen Textile Museum

It’s a joy to return for our third year of workshops with the St. Gallen Textile Museum—each year brings the freedom to create and share what we believe is next in fashion.

Exploring trends and blending psychology with fashion forecasting:
• Year 1: Upcycling fashion & technique
• Year 2: Mending as a movement
• This year: The rise of Japanese handcraft culture—kimono, sashiko, 3D textures, and stitching as art

This is where the future is headed: tradition meets innovation, all within the framework of zero-waste fashion. Creating beauty from nothing, turning simplicity into uniqueness.

Our work process is extremely minimalist—just a straight ruler, pencil, and a basic industrial sewing machine. Like a hairdresser with only scissors: mastering the essentials. The rest is freedom.

In our workshops, we don’t follow the curve—we make our own. Participants love the challenge, from recreating grain lines on muslin to turning straight lines into expressive forms. It’s part technique, part magic.

This is what we love: sharing something new, surprising, and joyful.

It is with a good deal of excitement that we can announce that our Zero Waste Fashion with haute couture techniques, is now proudly supported and sponsored by Innosuisse and the Institute for Innovation, Design, and Engineering at OST - Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences.

It is common knowledge that the fashion industry is one of the largest contributors to the production of waste, impacting both our society and the environment. From the overproduction of fashion items to the complexities involved in combining various materials, many products become impossible to recycle and are unable to return to the earth.

What sets us apart from other companies and sustainable fashion consultants is our commitment to true zero waste. We don't simply repurpose deadstock materials for the sake of fashion; instead, we ensure that no additional waste is generated during the recreation process. Our focus is on maximizing the use of every possible material to create new products. In an age where AI technology is poised to replace many manual jobs, we are taking a different path. We aim to create jobs that only human hands can perform. This is the core of our mission: to help companies eliminate waste by utilizing what has already been produced to its fullest potential. Our approach involves using high-quality materials, emphasizing innovative ideas, and investing in skilled craftsmanship. Whether it's textiles or fashion products, we dedicate significant time and effort to pattern making, marketing, sampling, and collaborating with artisans to produce high-end pieces. By doing so, we bring new value to materials that would otherwise be sadly discarded.
