New dates for the New year Mornings- Wednesdays, 25th Jan,1st and 25th March 9.30am to 12 .30 Thursdays, 9th February, 16th March. Evenings- Thursdays 5.30am to 9.00pm 26th January, 9th February, 2nd, 16th and 30th March.
Come and do a beginners project or get some help on your own project.

Summer workshops almost full, one spot on each day left for most of the workshops. Complete Summer wardrobe August 22nd to 26th still has 3 places available. This sewing camp, for aspiring designers, need no experience on day one, will learn how to use the sewing machine, cut fabric and create 5 wearable items by the end of the week, each day introducing new skills. A fantastic sewing machine cover created by Elizabeth in a class earlier this month. A group of ladies organised a private workshop with me, they had chosen the pattern and we spent a lovely day sewing, the sewing machine covers were not quite finished when they had to leave but I am hoping for the other 2 pictures soon. Once again the same pattern and such different results, all beautiful.

This year I am doing some childrens summer workshops at the end of June begining of July and in August. A few for children aged 7 and up aimed at new sewers making simple projects, a soft toy workshop and then some for sewers aged 9 and up in response to requests for young people who realy want to sew their own clothes. You can pick the projects you want or come for a full week and learn all the esentials to making clothes, zips, pockets, waistbands, using stretch fabric. Starting this Wednesday from 9 until 12,a 5 week course on sewing for yourself. Over the course you will make a pair of trousers a skirt and a top using a commercial pattern, this will start you on your way to choose your own patterns and sew your own clothes. 1 spot left, message me if you are interested.
