6 rules that changed the way I live 👇👇👇

1. Practicality is more important than brands or looks: when choosing stuff for me, for my home or for my family I always start with the purpose, and only then look at anything else. If the item doesn't have a clear function in my life, it's probably a waste of money anyway

2. More expensive doesn't mean better: reading it the other way around one could say that cheaper doesn't always mean worse. It all comes back to the 1st rule, if an item has a job to do and it can do that "job" just as good by being cheaper, it's a buy worth buying.

3. Living below your means: saving always came first before any luxury or overspending. That would mean that I would always choose my spendings only within the limits I could afford, making sure that there is always at least a little money at the end of the month left for saving.

4.Always trying to get my money back: meaning that I would try to sell or donate my stuff before simply tossing it. Considering that in Switzerland you have to pay to throw things away, your trash literally costs you money.

5.Not spending for the hype: I was never scared to stay back on buying something even when everyone else around me had bought it. Either it's an expensive purse, a cocktail in the restaurant or a fancy car - I wouldn't buy it "just because" somebody else did (refering nack to rule 1)

6.Looking at the price and trying to find a better deal: ever since I was a child I would always count if I can afford something before buying. And I kept the habbit into adulthood. Now when I choose something before the final checkout I quickly run AI to look for a discount code or sign up for a newsletter to get those 5% off from my first order

How much meat can you actually buy in Switzerland for 47 CHF? 🇨🇭

I just picked up 5.53 kg of meat for exactly 47.55 CHF, which brings the average to just 8.60 CHF per kilo! 🤯

Here is how I keep my grocery bill low:

Shop at Fleisch Discount and always check their discounts online before you go. 🛒

My absolute favorites are the baby ribs, but their steaks are great too. 🥩

I also like to grab the discounted items. You can cook them right away or just pop them in the freezer for later. ❄️
