I am happy to invite you to a great week of exploration with workshops and an exhibition at ExoTea in Rotterdam. Exploring the world of identity through the animal kingdom in this concrete jungle. The main subject will be exotic animals since the question of identity in this cultural mixed world is sometimes hard to grasp, let's get closer to our colourful selves.
The idea is to learn from each other and exchange our experiences and reinvent ourselves through our paintings, while we have interesting conversations and most of all, have fun and connect!

Happy International Women's Day!

This is a reminder to all our beautiful black women that sometimes we forget how strong and important we are in the role of human evolution. The Eve Gene shows that we have been involved for centuries in the development of human kind and is unfortunately forgotten about! We always have to fight for our rights and remind others of the importance of our role so we are not overlooked and taken for granted!

I salute you for being the strong being you are! For the pain we have and had to go through to be heard. I honor all women who have to fight a battle on their own accounts but remember your ancestors are proud of you!

I hope you are celebrating it in some form!

BLM Protest Zurich: Power to the people ✊🏽🖤💯

My daughter and I have been taking part in the BLM protest in Zurich. What she said surprised me but also didn’t. “I feel empowered and I feel part of something.” When she said that I knew she didn’t think about how much this might have an affect in her subconscious but if you are honest with yourself. It did feel special! You felt part of a historical event where we are allowed to speak up and have a voice. Not being gas lightened by everyone for voicing our discomfort and for once being black and proud out in public together without excusing yourself. Standing behind each other's personal experience. I am glad we could share this special moment in time together.
