As a child, I couldn’t fall asleep without my pillow. I would hold the corner and keep touching it until I fell asleep. It was the only way I could calm down.

Only later did I understand why. What we feel on our skin affects us more than we realize.

The last of the spring days.

It feels like spring is finally fading, making space for warmer summer days ahead. A quiet seasonal shift that we have been waiting for.

Maybe one last moment to wear my MIRÉ cashmere sweater before putting it away for the season.

I just returned from a trip to hot climates,
and cashmere was the one thing I kept reaching for.

on flights, in over-air-conditioned spaces,
and during cooler evenings.

Cashmere isn’t seasonal for me.
It moves with me.

Back home, the weather feels warm and bright—
but mornings and evenings still call for something light, soft, and warm.

That’s where true comfort lives.

—and most people don’t realize it.

After more than 20 years working inside global fashion brands, I saw a structural reality most consumers never see.

Today, the majority of clothing is made from synthetic fibers:�polyester, nylon, acrylic.

These materials are petroleum-based—designed for cost and scale, not longevity.

Each wash releases microplastics into water systems, now found in ecosystems and even in the human body.

This is not a trend issue.�It is a material system issue.

At a certain point, I made a decision:
To step away from synthetic materials.
