I have been working with industrial fabrics and clothing insulations for over 20 years. My first sleeping bag was made from Mylar. It was warm, but it was so noisy you couldn't sleep. Since my early efforts, I have worked with the National Science Foundation, NASA, the U.S. Marines and DARPA developing advanced insulations for protective clothing, sleeping bags and space missions. working on a new kind ofclothing fabric for extreme environments. My vision was that textures



A Material Revolution, 20 Years in the Making

could be molded into the fabric, and these textures could be designed to improve various characteristics, including water resistance, breathability, camouflage, warmth and aerodynamics. Working with experts in the textile industry, methods of creating a 3-D texture in the fabric were developed. In the spring of 2013, we were making fabric with the look and performance that we wanted. We are eager to produce these fabrics for high performance outerwear for sports enthusiasts. We started Lime Coyote for that purpose.
