I'm performing trapeze next week and decided I needed a new bag for my trapeze. Obviously this couldn't be a quick, plain job, oh no. So out came the fancy scraps, the compass and protractor to make the star stencil, the scraps of fusible interlining to stabilise the stars (yes I save those too) and some essential quality control from my lovely cat!
I'm pleased with the result, what do you think?

I went to the Circular fashion conference in Leeds on Monday, it was a really interesting and fun day. I really enjoyed meeting many of the other designers who took part in The Corset Revival Project.
I was delighted that my corset was one of the ones chosen for the catwalk show! There were 120 corsets and only 36 could be modeled. It was so wonderful seeing it on a person. There will be some professional pictures soon. In the meantime enjoy this little video I took.

My corset for The Corset Revival Project is finished, here's a sneak peek before the catwalk show next week! Its been so fun being involved with this project, there will be around 150 other participants corsets and I can't wait to meet the designers and see their work!
