The costume design for "Seed of Knowledge," directed by Ayafor Leonel aka Leoman for the opening performance of the Education INDABA Conference, was a vibrant representation of Cameroon culture. It blended traditional textiles and patterns with modern elements to create a unique and captivating visual identity, reminiscent of pre-nursary and primary school uniforms with a twist of cultural flair.

Through the use of traditional Cameroon fabrics and designs, the team paid homage to the country's rich cultural heritage while showcasing innovation and creativity, with a playful nod to the classic primary school uniform style. The goal was to create a visually stunning and engaging performance, incorporating primary school uniform elements to add a touch of nostalgia.

The costumes were designed in a colorful and diverse array of African countries' flag colors, including the iconic green, red, and yellow of Cameroon, adding a bold and patriotic touch to the overall design. The colors proudly showcased the rich diversity of African nations, creating a sense of pan-African unity and solidarity.

By blending traditional African textiles and patterns with modern elements, the costume created a sense of cultural identity and pride, highlighting the importance of innovation and progress in education within a modern school uniform aesthetic.

The result was a captivating and engaging show that celebrated African culture and creativity while emphasizing the importance of education and innovation. The costume design successfully showcased the beauty and diversity of African cultures, while also promoting a sense of unity and solidarity among African nations.

L'ART DU COSTUME : DÉPOUILLEMENT, TRANSFORMATION & RACCORD POUR LES PRODUCTIONS CINÉMATOGRAPHIQUES AUDIO-VISUELLES & LES ARTS VIVANTS .

À fin de contribuer au développement des compétences des amateurs et des professionnels œuvrant dans le département Costume dans les secteurs du cinéma, du théâtre, de l'audiovisuel et les autres formes de spectacles vivants. Nous avons organisés une formation de renforcement de capacités en costume design.

Nous avons eu l'honneur de recevoir d'une professionnelle du secteur Mme Jeanne NGO NDAP .N. Cheffe costumière dans ce cadre. Nous avons eu l'opportunité de

✅ Partager nos expériences,
✅ Découvrir de nouvelles techniques et stratégies de dépouillements, transformations, raccords.
✅ Mieux comprendre les relations qui existent entre le département costume et la direction photo, le décor, l'éclairage, le son, l'accessoire...
