I-Xiu Plitzs FW is more than fashion only :). This edition we were happy to launch a long term co-operation with Smile Angel Foundation, a charity focusd on helping children with CLP ( cleft lip and palate).
It's a organization established by Mr. Li Yapeng and Ms. Faye Wong in 2006. Mission: Building an innovative, efficient and sustainable healthcare and support system to improve the living conditions of children with cleft lip and palate and their families.
They offer comprehensive medical services to children with CLP. Until the end of 2014, they had offered more than 10,000 free CLP surgeries to those in need. Smile Angel also provides familly support and training for medical professionals for over 70 hospitals all over China.
I-Xiu together with Smile Angel launched a program called „Love Bag”. I-Xiu invites a number of celebities and designers to create unique bags that will be sold on in order to support the charity. All proceeds will support SmileAngle Foundation to manufacture their “love bag” which includes some products in it such as special feeding bottle for CLP, CLP nursing handbook, application form and some baby gifts. Every love bag will deliver to the CLP from poor families in the remote areas of China. The way of “Love Bag = Love Bag” will support CLP to grow up healthily and rebuild confidence. It is the first time that a fashion platform co-operates that closely with charity in China.
