Footwear world, watch this space 👟👀
Last week, we welcomed Yannik Zamboni to São Paulo, Brazil, to kick off Prototype 1 for what aims to become one of the most sustainably progressive footwear collections the planet has ever seen.
Yannik Zamboni is best known for winning the fashion competition series Making the Cut in Los Angeles. Since then, he has gone on to achieve great things, including guest appearances on Germany's Next Top model alongside Heidi Klum.
His design philosophy is driven by animal welfare and reducing plastics wherever possible.
This project aims to embody those values while also promoting transparent manufacturing. Prototype 1 is now complete, and we now move into Prototype 2, where we will begin incorporating next-generation materials.
From alternatives to leather and plastics, to more progressive replacements across every aspect of the shoe. From the upper to the sole, laces, and thread, the goal is to create something with genuine impact.
We cannot wait for this project to unfold and push the boundaries of footwear manufacturing like never before.
