Silk noil, also known as raw silk, is a fabric made from the short fibers leftover after the long silk filaments are spun. These short fibers, which are a byproduct of traditional silk production, are then spun into yarn, giving silk noil its characteristic nubby texture. It's known for its soft drape, slightly rough texture, and ability to dye well.
✨We are now launching a new lightweight silk noil, the fabric weight is only 23 momme (about 99 gsm).
✂️This fabric is often used to make some light and breathable clothing.
