đź’” A Detroit nonprofit says more than 400 pairs of sneakers were stolen from its warehouse just days before they were supposed to be handed out to local kids.

According to NW Goldberg Cares, the shoes were meant for a youth giveaway during HoopFest, but the theft has left organizers scrambling as Detroit police investigate the case.

Despite the setback, the nonprofit says it’s determined to keep supporting the community.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detroit Police.
