BUY LESS 🌱 BUY ONLY WHAT YOU NEED

This is the number one rule!
How many garments are currently sitting in your closet because you actually don’t like them that much? Or because they don’t really fit that well? Or because you have 2 other pieces that are very similar but better? Doesn’t match your style / was in and out of fashion that same season / you don’t have THE event to wear it to / it looked better in the store (...)

Yup, we’ve been there 😓

Don’t impulse buy, you most likely will regret it.
This is why you “have nothing to wear”, even though your closet it full 🤭

Sustainability: brands love to throw this word around 🍃
But what does it really mean?

In 1987 the United Nations defined sustainability as:
“development that meets the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”.

And if we’re being quite honest, most of today’s brands do neither.

They present as sustainable, and yet produce millions of garments of very poor quality, that don’t even last.
And most of the time they don’t really care about who and how the materials and clothes were made.
As long as they meet the deadlines, all good for them!

Who cares if the person who made this shirt doesn’t have enough money to buy food?
Who cares if this plasticky ass skirt is going to realise billions of micro plastics in the sea? 🤡
But they still hashtag sustainability.

It’s important to make consumers aware of , a very common yet dangerous marketing strategy, that grabs us innocent buyers by the conscience 😤
They make us believe that we’re buying a good, green and ethically made product, but at the end of the day.. they fooled all of us 😠

We can talk more about greenwashing another day!

For now, we want to ask you:
Do you ever feel compelled to buy stuff that has a “green” label, or the words sustainable/conscious on it?
How does it make you feel? 🌿
