A little bit more about denim
As you know, there are several ways in which denim has been produced for ages to give them different types of finishes. The garment is washed with stones, blown with sand, tumbled with pumice stone soaked in chlorine to give them different finishes.
These techniques require lots of water and the chemicals used in them harm the environment and workers.
But since denim is so popular, companies adopting sustainability have discovered eco-friendly methods of production where the quality of denim is also better since the garment is not subjected to abrasive treatments.
One such eco-friendly process is the use of laser technology. It can not only give denim garments the same worn-out or vintage look that abrasive processes give but can also print different patterns or images on them.
There are no stones, chemicals, or water used in the process, and the lasers are easily controlled using computers to print different designs.
There are many more techniques like this, where the output is good for the environment, is better in quality, and also looks more appealing.
Whichever technique you choose for your denim production, Textile Pro is here to assist. You can reach out to us with your requirements and we will work out a plan.
