We had a very successful shopping trip to Riohacha this weekend! We loved being able to personally hand pick each one of our new mochila bags. We got many beautiful colors and patterns. We just booked our Fall shopping trip to Riohacha in La Guajira!!! This department (like a state in the US) is in the very northeast corner of Colombia and it is where the Wayuu tribe women live. We will be picking up lots of beautiful mochila bags. If you have a specific color or pattern that you would love for us to grab, PM us!

Trunk Show! Join us TODAY (8/7) from 5-7 pm for a special showing of colorful Mochila bags, handwoven by female members of the indigenous Wayuu tribe in northern Columbia. WE'll have a few Americans living in Columbia on hand to answer any questions you may have about the country as well!! These beautiful bags represent a traditional craft that has been practiced for hundreds of years. Perfect for casual nights out, trips to the beach, birthday/holiday/graduation gifts or just strolling through town, these one-of-a-kind bags come in various colors and patterns that are influenced by the weavers beliefs and environment. We hope to see you TONIGHT! Drinks/light snacks will be served. 🙂
