Pearl white memories 🤍 Based on our “Pink swan” edwardian-inspired dress, we had to make a pearly white one as well, so we are very creatively naming her “White Swan” 🦢🤍
This beautiful lace has a subtle shine that only comes through when there is a white layer underneath it as well, so we had to use a comfortable viscose for the lining.
This dress is double-lined, so even though it’s pure white, it is not see-through at all 🌸🎀

A few days ago, we sat down with my grandma and listened to all the stories concerning these crochet doilies 🎀 Some were made by her, some by her sister, some were gifted to her by good friends… All meaningful shows of appreciation for her ❤️
It made us reflect how sometimes decades of women’s handwork go unnoticed or forgotten by families, and we weren’t going to let that happen with grandma’s and grand aunt’s doilies, table runners, shelf coverings, collars and curtains. They are responsible for our homes being so warm and decorated, and such beauty needs to be celebrated and remembered 💖🥰

These past few days we’ve been posting snippets of the process behind this corset, and we are very proud to present the “Fountain Of Gold” over-bust corset ⭐️⚜️ The scalloped edge gives it a historical look, while also being practical. The straps are detachable, if you prefer a strapless look 💫 It can also be made in a red version of the same fabric ❤️
