the courtyard of Agapi Charity Shop is coming alive with love and music. 💫

Volunteers and friends from the Chinese & Cypriots Fellowship Association carefully prepared every detail —
from handcrafted décor to traditional pastries like meat mooncakes, mung bean cakes, and buttery crisps,
paired with fresh Ya Shi Xiang lemon tea. 🍋🫖

1st of June the "China-Cyprus Joint Celebration of International Children's Day" event was successfully concluded.

On June 1, 2024, Siyen Chinese Linguistic School, supported by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Cyprus, the Cyprus Ministry of Tourism, the EU Commission for Intercultural Exchange, and the Limassol Municipal Government, hosted a unique and significant cross-cultural exchange event titled "Celebrating International Children's Day Together: China and Cyprus" at the Molos Seaside Amphitheater in Limassol. The event focused on the cultural heritage of both China and Cyprus, using ethnic music as a medium for exchange.

On the day of the event, Chinese Ambassador to Cyprus Liu Yantao and his spouse, Cyprus Minister of Tourism Costas Koumis, Limassol Mayor Nicos Nikolaidis, EU Intercultural Exchange Commission Head Nenad Bogdanovic, and representatives and teachers from the Confucius Institute in Cyprus, joined local Cypriot families and artists to enjoy a joyful and memorable time together.

Attendees experienced the charm of each other's intangible cultural heritage, traditional instruments, and ethnic music, and sampled authentic Chinese traditional snacks. There was particular admiration for the enthusiasm and talent of our young Chinese participants!

c. Exhibition of Chinese calligraphy art.
