I started with a simple idea:
turn egg cartons, cereal boxes and fabric scraps into something playful.

These little characters came together differently…. cutting, layering, painting, adjusting as I went along

Each one is unique

There's something magical and unique about giving someone you love a gift that you've created yourself.

An idea is born in my head thinking of this person and slowly my hands give it life.

These gifts often take hours, days or even weeks to make, but it's worth it.

This embroidery has been specially designed for my friend Valentina.

She's a joyful, funny, curious woman with mischievous blue eyes and she is pregnant with a little princess whom she has affectionately nicknamed Birdy.
