The love for shoemaking goes way back when Mr Tsingis started as a young cobbler, in 1944, setting the first stone of what was to become a great passion for the next two generations. His knowledge and craftsmanship passed on to his grandson Aristos and his wife Iacovia, the founders of Martello Oro. These young craftsmen were inspired by the idea of making elegant, made to measure, luxury sandals and adopted a unique Italian technique to create high quality leather sandals. They created a new brand "MARTELLO ORO" in 2017 and opened the first MARTELLO ORO store in Nicosia n 2018.
