A little sneak peek from this year’s Gordon Bennett Cup. 🎈🧭

We got to see this screenshot from the Spanish team of Angel Aguirre and Anulfo González, using Kubicek FlyMate while planning their way toward a waypoint more than 820 km ahead and through a very narrow corridor of available airspace.

Seeing FlyMate used as part of the navigation process in a challenge like this makes us especially proud.

Angel and Anulfo made it through the corridor and went on to finish 4th overall. 🇪🇸👏

Congratulations to them, and to all the teams who took part in this year’s Gordon Bennett. An incredible demonstration of skill, endurance and long-distance ballooning.

A fresh start for ballooning history. 🎈🇺🇸

The National Balloon Museum in Indianola, Iowa, has reopened its doors with a newly renovated Big Sky Hall and a fresh way to discover the history, people and sport of ballooning.

We’re happy to be part of the new exhibition and even happier to support a place that helps keep ballooning history alive while introducing the magic of flight to new generations. ❤️🎈

A big win in Indianola, Iowa, US! 🏆
Congratulations to Leroy Clair, who won the prestigious National Balloon Classic against more than 90 pilots, flying his Kubicek BB18XR.

For us, this one feels special. Leroy is a great competition pilot, our Kubicek subdealer in Iowa, and a familiar name in the Heartland ballooning community.

Well done to all the pilots who competed in Indianola and helped make this year’s National Balloon Classic such a strong event. We’re especially proud to see several great results from pilots flying Kubicek balloons — it is always special to see our balloons represented so well in the field.

Congratulations, Leroy. What a result! 👏

A closer look at the ORIGO burner. 🔥🎈

As Scott Gneiting explains, this is not just a standard liquid burner placed into a smaller system. The ORIGO burner was re-engineered specifically for this concept — simple, lightweight and designed to make ORIGO a more accessible entry point into ballooning.

At only 7 kg, it is part of what makes ORIGO well suited for new pilots, flight schools and building flight hours.
