A new loom is now running, and it is an important step forward for our production. 🧵

Recently, with the support of specialists from Jakob Müller AG, we successfully put a new NFM® weaving loom into operation.

The machine is a modern narrow fabric loom for light to medium-weight elastic and non-elastic narrow fabrics. It has a modular design, fully electronic drives, and a modern network-ready control platform, which makes operation, setting, and future adjustments much more flexible. It also offers higher production speed, faster and more precise machine setting, and strong operational safety.

For us, this investment is practical and clear in its benefits. The new loom will help us improve product quality, shorten delivery times, and increase production efficiency. It also gives us more flexibility in everyday operation and better conditions for handling future production needs.

We would especially like to thank Serhad Cetin, service technician from JM, and Jan Bönsch, JM consultant, for their help with the installation, their patience in answering all our questions, and their willingness to discuss the challenges we face on other looms as well.

At the same time, thanks also go to everyone on our side who contributed, from the maintenance team to the machine setters. A project like this is never only about the machine itself. It is about people, preparation, and teamwork. 🤝

Now the most important part begins for us: turning the machine’s potential into everyday results on the production floor. ✅

What matters most to you when a company invests in new technology: quality, speed, flexibility, or long-term reliability?

Customer Trust, Rated 4.9 💚

We were proud to receive excellent feedback from customers on Mapy.com, where we were rated 4.9 and recognised among the best-rated places for 2026.

Ratings like this are not built in one day. They come from everyday work, reliable communication, product quality, and the overall experience people have with our company. That is why we value this recognition so much.

What makes it especially meaningful is that it comes directly from people who know us through their own experience. In today’s environment, where trust matters more than ever, this kind of feedback is both encouraging and motivating. ✅

Thank you to everyone who rated us and helped us earn this recognition. We truly appreciate it.

1.6 Million Steps for Health and a Good Cause 👟 💙

In April, we launched a simple but meaningful challenge: 10,000 steps a day for the whole month. From 1 to 30 April 2026, employees could join by tracking their daily steps on a phone or smartwatch and sending the record for review.

The idea was clear. Move more, fight spring tiredness, do something good for your body, and add a charitable dimension to the challenge as well. Four employees started. Three stayed in until the end. That alone says a lot about how demanding consistency can be over a full month.

And the results were impressive. The winner completed 760,795 steps. Together, the three finalists reached 1,683,575 steps, which equals 1,257 kilometres, enough to go from Tišnov to Amsterdam and keep going. Even more interesting, second and third place were separated by only 5 kilometres, while the winner built a clear lead and simply ran away with it. 🏆

What made this challenge special was that it was not only about competition. If completed successfully, we committed to donate 10,000 CZK to charitable projects through Donio. So every step had value twice: for personal health and for a good cause.

This reminded us that company culture is not built only through work itself. It is also built through shared challenges that motivate people, improve wellbeing, and connect effort with something meaningful.

Sometimes, a simple idea works best: walk more, feel better, and help someone along the way.

What kind of workplace challenge would motivate you more: steps, sport, or something team-based?

This is why trade fairs still matter 👀

On 22 April, I spent the full day at Techtextil , from 9:00 to 18:00, and it was absolutely worth the visit.

Over the course of the day, I had dozens of meetings with both current and potential suppliers of materials, machinery, and components. I also visited the stands of competing companies, because fairs like this are not only about relationships, but also about keeping a close eye on where the market is moving. 🧵⚙️
I was also pleased to visit Jakob Müller Group and LAB1887 during the fair. It was valuable to see their latest approach and discuss developments in the field directly on site.

By the end of the day, my watch showed 10,177 steps, which says quite a lot about the size of the fair and the pace of the meetings. Another nice moment was at the stand of our supplier Nexis Fibers, where they had samples of our webbing on display. That is always a good feeling, to see your own products represented in that context.

I also came back with a few clear observations. There were many exhibitors from China, and at the same time, part of the exhibition space remained unoccupied. Even details like this say something about the current state of the market and where things may be shifting.

For me, the fair confirmed that these visits still matter. You can compare suppliers, see new developments with your own eyes, and get a better sense of the mood in the industry in just one day.

Techtextil was definitely worth the trip, and I am quite sure I will be back again in two years.

When you visit a trade fair, what do you pay most attention to: meetings, competitors, or the overall market mood?

Where ideas, machines, and markets meet 👀

On 22 April, we will be visiting Techtextil in Frankfurt, one of the leading international trade fairs for technical textiles and nonwovens. The event runs from 21 to 24 April 2026 and brings together national and international exhibitors across the full spectrum of high-tech textile applications.

For us, the goal is clear. We want to meet both our current and potential suppliers of materials and machinery, follow new developments in the market, and see what our competitors are bringing to the table. In an industry like ours, these visits are not just about networking. They are also about staying alert, comparing approaches, and spotting opportunities early.

What makes Techtextil especially relevant is its range. The fair covers twelve application areas, includes an Innovation Award, expert talks in the Techtextil Forum, and runs alongside Texprocess, which connects ideas from R&D with practical implementation.

These events are a useful reminder that progress rarely comes from staying in one place. It comes from asking questions, seeing new solutions up close, and understanding how quickly the market is moving.

We always come back from fairs like this with a clearer view of what matters now, and what may matter next. 🧵⚙️

Opened, and immediately full 🧗‍♂️

On 11 April 2026, we had the pleasure of being present at the official opening of the new climbing wall in Tišnov. Together with Mayor J. Dospíšil, we opened the wall and watched it immediately fill up with climbers and visitors.

What happened next exceeded expectations. The wall stayed busy continuously until 18:00, with 240+ registered climbers (mostly children and teenagers) and 150+ additional visitors who came to see the project and the space.

From our perspective, this is exactly what meaningful local investment should look like: a place that gets people moving, builds confidence, and creates a new meeting point for the town. We were proud to support the project as the main sponsor of the wall’s equipment, alongside the City of Tišnov as the investor and other supporters who helped make it happen. 💙

We left with one strong feeling: Tišnov gained something that will be used, loved, and returned to again and again. 🧗‍♀️

One evening, three teams, one good cause 🎳💙

We recently took part in a charity bowling event in Tišnov, organised by Charita Tišnov to raise support for Poradna Porta. It was a great reminder that community support can also be fun, active, and genuinely connecting.

We joined with three teams, and the atmosphere was exactly what we hoped for. Friendly, lively, and full of that healthy competitive spirit that makes team events so enjoyable.

Beyond the scores, what mattered most was the shared experience. People who normally meet only briefly at work had time to talk, laugh, and cheer each other on. Moments like this strengthen relationships across departments and build team spirit in a very natural way. 🤝

Most importantly, the event raised 73,500 CZK for a good cause, supporting Poradna Porta and the important help they provide to people in our region.

Thank you to Charita Tišnov for organising this evening and to everyone who took part.

Stability is not only built on production. It is also built on good financial decisions. 📈

On March 24, 2026, our company economist Ing. Hana Brázdová, attended the economic seminar “Macroeconomic Development and FX Rates in 2026” hosted by Akcenta CZ .

The seminar focused on the current global economic situation and how it affects the Czech economy in a turbulent period where political developments can significantly influence energy prices, gas, oil, and other key inputs. It also highlighted the uncertainty and volatility of exchange rates, especially the Czech crown against foreign currencies. 🌍

For companies trading in foreign currencies, this creates real FX risk. Without managing it, even strong sales can turn into unstable margins. That is why we address currency exposure long term and use FX hedging tools, including forward contracts, to reduce risk and protect planned margins.

What we took from this seminar is a clear reminder that in uncertain times, financial discipline matters as much as operational discipline. Monitoring markets, planning ahead, and having a hedging strategy in place can protect the business and keep decisions predictable, even when the world is not. 🤝

If you operate internationally, it is worth mapping your currency exposure, setting rules for risk limits, and choosing a hedging approach that fits your cash flow and contracts.

How does your company approach currency risk and financial stability when markets become volatile?

Spring is starting, and webbing quietly becomes a “garden essential” again 🌱

We see the same seasonal shift every year. The moment spring starts, webbing stops being only an “industrial” product and becomes a quiet helper for gardens, planting, and work around the house.

Tree planting season means one practical thing comes back quickly: straps for staking and tying young trees. A good tie holds the tree steady, spreads pressure, and helps avoid damage to the bark when the wind picks up. That is why these straps are used not only by gardeners, but also in larger planting projects such as Sázíme stromy 🌳

Another spring use case that often surprises people is planters and flower boxes. Some self-watering systems rely on textile wicks to pull water where plants need it. It is a small detail, but it can make the whole setup work better, for example in solutions like Plastia CZ. 💧

What many people miss is that choosing the right material matters. Outdoors, straps need to hold, last, and stay gentle to what they support. Small components can prevent rework later and help plants grow with fewer setbacks. 🧵

👉 What is your first spring task every year, planting, repairing, or getting the garden ready?

For the Women Who Keep the Workplace Running 🌹

International Women’s Day is a good moment to stop and recognise something we see every day. The skill, care, and reliability our female colleagues bring to the company is essential. Many of the results we are proud of start with their work, their patience, and their responsibility.

This year, we wanted to say thank you face to face, with a rose and a plate with Czech favourites, chlebíček and a větrník. 🍽️ A short pause, a smile, and a moment to feel seen.

Hana Brázdová was there with us as well, and I think the photos capture the atmosphere perfectly. 😊

Behind the scenes, company culture is built through these small moments. Respect, gratitude, and attention to people are not one day a year. They are part of how we want to work every day.

To all women in our team and beyond, thank you for what you do. 🌹

👉 What is a gesture at work that made you feel truly appreciated?
